Ola delivers comprehensive and up to date legal advisory services in energy and natural resources law, supply chain due diligence, project management, joint ventures, real estate, contract drafting and negotiation, as well as various business and commercial transactions. His legal expertise spans advising on carbon footprint management, Alberta’s Carbon Capture and Storage hub system, and the framework of Canada’s Modern Slavery Act.
Leveraging on his international practice experience in energy & projects, Ola brings a wealth of experience to clients in the energy sector. He previously worked at a boutique law firm in Lagos, Nigeria, where he established a solid track record of success advising oil and gas companies on diverse projects. During this time, he acquired extensive practical experience in major domestic and international transactions, including Marginal Field Operations, Term Sheet Negotiations, Joint Operating Agreements, Farm-out/Farm-in Agreements, Production Sharing Agreements and Technical Support Agreements.
Ola is a recipient of the Canadian Energy Law Foundation Scholarship, two-time recipient of the Foundation for Natural Resources and Energy Law Scholarship and a recipient of the Canadian Network on Information and Security Scholarship. He has authored articles covering a wide variety of topics in the energy and ESG sectors.
